Art of Arabia II from Lattafa Perfumes, released in 2023, is a sweet, spicy woody oud with an almond heart. Wood is what everyone notices; most also find it spicy and sweet, and a third pick up musk, a floral note and citrus.
Bergamot, pink pepper and cardamom open it bright and aromatic, with lavender adding a clean, herbal note. The heart is almond and heliotrope, a creamy, marzipan-like softness that gives the scent its gourmand side, with jasmine adding a warm floral touch. The base is agarwood for a dark, resinous depth, guaiac wood for a smoky dryness, sandalwood for creaminess and vanilla for a smooth, rounded sweetness.
It is worn by anyone and suits autumn and winter and the evening, for someone who likes oud softened with almond and vanilla.
