It opens with green leaves and ivy, a crisp, sappy, slightly bitter freshness, brightened by lemon blossom and softened by nectarine with its juicy, slightly tart fruit. Black currant adds a sharp, leafy tartness, and matcha tea gives the middle a dry, grassy, faintly bitter note that keeps the greenness going. The flowers are white and tropical: jasmine sambac for a warm, heady richness and ylang-ylang for a creamy, banana-tinged sweetness, with angelica adding an earthy, herbal edge. Labdanum, sandalwood and musk form the base, warm, smooth and slightly resinous, so the scent ends softer than it starts.
