Red berries open it with a tart, jammy sweetness that is bright and a little candied. The heart is where the character lies: frangipani and tiare flower, two tropical white blooms, the frangipani sweet, creamy and faintly peachy, the tiare softer and slightly coconut-tinged, so the middle smells warm, sunny and holiday-like. The base is simple and warm, with patchouli adding a dry, earthy wood that gives the flowers some grip and amber a soft, resinous warmth that carries the scent to its finish.
It is an easy, cheerful scent for warm weather and casual daytime wear, for women who like tropical florals kept simple and sweet rather than complex.
