Blackcurrant syrup opens it, dark, tart and sticky, more like a cordial than fresh fruit. The heart is Turkish rose, deep and slightly jammy, paired with davana, a herb that smells fruity and a little boozy, somewhere between apricot and liqueur, which lifts the rose and gives it a warm, unusual edge. The base is patchouli and benzoin: the patchouli earthy, dark and a little chocolatey, the benzoin a sweet, vanilla-like resin that softens everything into a warm glow.
