Bergamot and mandarin orange open it brightly, with lavender adding a clean aromatic note. Then the spices arrive in force: black pepper, cinnamon, cloves and saffron, warm and a little fiery. The sweetness comes from a mix of apricot and dates, dried-fruit rather than fresh, alongside chestnut, which gives it a roasted, nutty character. The base settles into bourbon vanilla, amber and leather, smooth, warm and slightly smoky.
It is marketed as masculine and is a cold-weather, evening scent by nature, for someone who enjoys spiced, dried-fruit sweetness with a leathery finish.
