Blackart Rouge Intense by Flavia, released in 2023, is a warm amber worn by anyone, with saffron and fruit at the start. Amber is the word everyone uses; about a third also find it spicy, gourmand, woody or floral.
Saffron opens it with a dry, leathery, slightly medicinal spice, jasmine adds a rich white-floral warmth and fruity notes a sweet, jammy edge. The heart is all about amber: ambergris for a salty, mineral warmth and amberwood for a smooth, modern, slightly woody glow. The base brings a touch of the forest and the kitchen: fir resin for a sticky, green, pine-like sweetness, a gourmand accord for a soft dessert note and cedar for a clean, dry wood.
