My Sweetest Morphine from the French house Ex Nihilo, released in 2023, is a bright, airy floral with a woody base. Floral is what everyone notices; most also find it woody, and a third pick up musk, freshness and citrus.
Bergamot opens it with a clean brightness, and ozonic and solar notes give it a warm, open-air, sun-on-skin quality. The heart is lilac and mimosa, soft, powdery and slightly honeyed, with rose adding a fuller floral body. Vetiver and patchouli ground the base with dry, earthy wood, and musk keeps the finish smooth and skin-like.
