Cuba Wild Heart from the French house Cuba Paris is a woody, musky fragrance for men. Wood is what everyone notices; about half also find it musky, and a minority pick up a floral note, amber and citrus.
Kumquat opens it with a small, bright, slightly bitter citrus lift. The heart is lightly floral, with cyclamen bringing a green, watery freshness and jasmine a soft warmth. The body of the scent is wood: Brazilian rosewood, smooth and slightly sweet, pine tree for a resinous, coniferous dryness, sandalwood for creaminess and patchouli for earth. White musk and musk soften the finish, and amber adds a mild, lingering warmth.
