Gypsy Water Hair Perfume, the 2015 hair version of the Byredo scent, is mainly woody, with strong amber and citrus sides and smaller spicy, gourmand and floral touches.
Lemon and bergamot open it with a fresh, bright citrus sparkle, and pepper adds a light, dry spice. Juniper berries bring a crisp, gin-like greenness, while pine tree and pine needles give a resinous, evergreen freshness, the smell of a forest. Orris root brings a soft, powdery note in the heart. The base is warm and smooth: incense adds a gentle, dry smoke, sandalwood a creamy woodiness, and vanilla and amber a soft, golden sweetness.
