Ghiaccio is a fresh, woody citrus with a watery floral heart, released by the Italian house Byblos in 1998 and intended for women.

Bergamot and bitter orange open it with a bright, slightly dry citrus that sets a cool, clean tone, as the name, which means ice, suggests. The heart is watery and soft: water lily and water hyacinth give a dewy, aquatic floral freshness, and violet a gentle powdery note. The base is woody and resinous, with sandalwood for creaminess, vetiver for a dry, earthy, grassy edge, myrrh for a dry balsamic warmth, and musk for a soft, lasting finish.

It suits spring and summer and daytime wear. Anyone who likes cool, aquatic citrus florals with a woody backbone should find it an easy choice.
