Pear and bergamot open it, the pear juicy and crisp, the bergamot bright and slightly bitter, so the start is fresh and lightly sweet. The heart is white flowers: jasmine sambac for a warm, creamy, slightly heady richness, jasmine for a fuller body, and orange blossom for a honeyed, sunny brightness, which together make a lush but clean bouquet. The base is where the warmth gathers, with vanilla adding a creamy sweetness, sandalwood a smooth wood, amberwood and Ambrofix a dry, radiant, slightly salty amber that projects well, and musk a soft, skin-like finish.
It is a scent for evenings and mild weather, for men who are comfortable wearing white flowers and like them sweet and modern.
