The notes come as one group. Frankincense, olibanum and incense give a dry, church-like smoke, while resins add a sticky, warm depth. Agarwood (oud) brings a smoky, woody richness and leather a supple, slightly animalic texture. Basil and sage add a green, aromatic edge, violet a soft powdery touch and musk a smooth, skin-like finish.
This is a very powerful scent. Most wearers call its longevity eternal, and the sillage is enormous for most people, strong for many of the rest, so restraint is advisable.
