Grapefruit and lemon open it with bright, bitter zest, while marine notes and sea water add a cool, salty freshness and black pepper, pepper and ginger a warm, tingling spice. The heart is soft and sweet: white flowers for a creamy bouquet, violet for a cool powder, fruity notes for juiciness and caramel for a burnt-sugar richness. The base is woody and warm: cedar for a dry line, cashmere wood for a velvety softness, oakmoss for a damp green depth, tonka bean for an almond-vanilla sweetness, ambergris for a salty, mineral warmth and musk for a smooth finish.
