Opus Femme by Armaf is a sweet, fruity gourmand for women with a soft floral heart. Gourmand is the word everyone uses; about half also call it floral, and a minority find it spicy, woody or resinous.
Pear, plum and black currant open it with ripe, juicy fruit, and pink pepper adds a light, rosy tingle. The heart is soft and powdery: rose and jasmine for the floral body, iris for a cool, velvety powder that smooths the fruit. The base is where the dessert lives: praline for a nutty caramel sweetness, vanilla and tonka bean for creamy warmth, benzoin for a resinous, slightly balsamic glow and patchouli for an earthy depth that keeps it from being pure sugar.
