Bergamot, pear and blackcurrant open it bright, juicy and a little tart, with pink pepper adding a rosy warmth. The heart is a full white bouquet: tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom for a creamy, heady sweetness, ylang-ylang for a tropical warmth and mimosa for a soft, powdery, honeyed touch. The base is where the gourmand side shows, with praline and hazelnut adding a roasted, nutty sweetness, tonka bean a vanilla-like warmth, and patchouli and vetiver an earthy, dry counterweight.
It is marketed as feminine and suits evenings and the cooler months, for someone who likes big white flowers with a praline finish.
