Grapefruit and pink grapefruit open it with a bitter, juicy zest, and raspberry adds a tart, jammy fruit. Sugar cane and sugar give the heart a soft, caramel-tinged sweetness, while jasmine adds a heady white-floral warmth and osmanthus an apricot-like, faintly leathery note. The base is woody and green: cedar and Virginia cedar for a dry, pencil-shaving line, oakmoss for a damp, bitter depth and amber for a warm, resinous glow.
It wears as a modern sweet amber with more structure than most, suited to autumn and winter and the evening. It suits someone who likes fruity, sugary openings but wants cedar and oakmoss to keep the dry-down grounded, in a shared fragrance.
