Brioche is a bakery gourmand created in 2022 by Anatole Lebreton for his own French house. Sweetness leads, and about half of those who describe it also note a woody side.
The notes read like a boulangerie at dawn. Brioche and croissant give the warm, buttery, slightly yeasty smell of fresh pastry, and butter adds richness. Bran and hay bring a dry, toasty, grainy note, a little like crust and cereal. Honey adds a golden, slightly waxy sweetness.
