Royal Musk from Al Haramain Perfumes, released in 2021, is a soft floral musk. Floral is what everyone notices, with spice, musk and citrus each mentioned by a minority.
Bergamot opens it with a clean, slightly bitter brightness, and pepper adds a faint, warm bite. The heart is a classic white bouquet of jasmine, ylang-ylang and lily of the valley, warm, creamy and dewy in turn, with orris root adding a cool, powdery, slightly earthy touch. The base is beeswax and musk: the beeswax soft, honeyed and faintly animalic, the musk clean and skin-like, so the finish is warm and close rather than loud.
It is worn by anyone and suits everyday wear across the seasons, for the office or quiet evenings, for someone who likes white flowers and powdery iris wrapped in a honeyed musk.
