Acqua di Parma Colonia Pura, released in 2017 and composed by François Demachy, is equally woody, floral and citrus, with spicy, green and fresh sides in support.
It is a clean, airy take on the classic Italian cologne. Bergamot and orange open with a bright, sparkling citrus freshness, petitgrain adds a green, slightly woody leaf note, and ozonic notes an airy, breezy lift. In the heart, coriander brings a light, aromatic spice, narcissus a green, slightly earthy and honeyed floral note, and jasmine sambac a warm, slightly fruity sweetness. The base is clean and dry: cedar gives a pencil-shaving woodiness, patchouli a light earthy depth and white musk a soft, clean finish.
