Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo - Mandorlo di Sicilia, released in 1999, is mainly gourmand, with strong floral and citrus sides and smaller musky, amber and leathery touches.

The top notes are bright and slightly sweet: green almond brings a fresh, nutty and slightly milky note, star anise a sweet, licorice-like spice, and bergamot and orange a juicy citrus lift. In the heart, white peach gives a soft, velvety fruitiness, jasmine a warm sweetness and ylang-ylang a creamy, exotic floral note. The base is warm and smooth: Bourbon vanilla brings a creamy sweetness, Tolu balsam a soft, balsamic resin, cedar a dry structure and white musk a clean finish.

Most wearers find its longevity moderate, though some report it on the weak side, and its sillage is mostly described as moderate or intimate. It is voted mainly for summer and autumn, and largely as a daytime scent, with a fair share wearing it at night. It is worn by anyone and suits people who like almond and peach in a sunny, soft gourmand style.
