Jazz is a spicy fragrance from the French house Yves Saint Laurent, composed by Jean-Francois Latty and released in 1988. Spice leads, with strong floral and herbal sides and woody, green and citrus touches.

Anise, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom open with a warm, aromatic spice, alongside lavender, basil and bergamot, which add a herbal, citrus freshness. The heart brings geranium, carnation and iris, which give a spicy, powdery floral character. In the base, cedar, sandalwood, tobacco and oakmoss create a dry, earthy wood, with tonka bean and leather adding a warm finish.

Most wearers find it long lasting, and sillage is moderate or strong. It is voted for spring and autumn and worn day and night. This masculine scent suits the office and smart occasions, and someone who likes classic 1980s spicy fougères with powder, tobacco and moss.
