Passion Victim is a 2020 fragrance from the Spanish house Wilgermain, composed by Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Everyone who describes it calls it floral and amber, and most add sweet, woody, resinous and citrus, which makes it a full, rich composition with the whole spectrum in play.

Sicilian mandarin opens it with a sweet, bright citrus. The heart is a pair of classic flowers: Egyptian jasmine, creamy and slightly heady, and rose, full and honeyed. Cypress adds a dry, green wood that keeps the middle from being purely sweet. The base is where the amber comes from: Spanish labdanum, warm and leathery, frankincense, dry and smoky, and Mexican vanilla, rich and slightly boozy, with sandalwood and amber smoothing the finish.

It is worn by anyone. The resinous, vanilla-rich character suits cold weather and evening wear, and a person who likes warm floral ambers with a bit of incense in them.
