Mirto, released by the Italian brand Tuttotondo in 2016, is equally woody and musky, with spicy, floral, resinous and citrus sides in support.

Mirto is Italian for myrtle, a Mediterranean shrub, and myrtle leads with a green, aromatic and slightly camphorous freshness, a little like eucalyptus crossed with citrus. Bergamot adds a bright citrus lift, and sage and nutmeg a herbal, warm spice. Geranium brings a green, rosy floral note. The base is smooth and clean: frankincense, also listed as olibanum, gives a soft, dry smoke, vetiver an earthy, rooty dryness, woody notes a gentle structure, and white musk and musk a clean, skin-like finish.

The profile suggests spring and summer, daytime and the office, as well as relaxed evenings in warm weather. It is meant to be worn by anyone who likes green, herbal Mediterranean scents with a soft incense and musk base, and who prefers a calm, natural fragrance to sweetness. The myrtle gives it a distinctive, wild-garden character that evokes the Mediterranean coast.
