Bishra

Bishra is a nutty, spiced woody scent from Tola, released in 2022. Spicy is the word everyone uses for it; about half also find it woody, and a quarter gourmand or green.

Cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg set a warm, sweet, slightly hot spice from the start, and cardamom adds a cooler, aromatic note that keeps it from feeling heavy. Hazelnut is the distinctive element, toasted, slightly sweet and buttery, and a gourmand accord supports it with a soft, edible roundness. Fir brings a resinous, slightly cool, forest-like greenness that gives the composition some air. Clary sage adds a dry, herbal, faintly musky tone, and sandalwood gives the base a creamy, smooth woodiness that holds the spices and the nut together.
