Delox by Tiziana Terenzi, released in 2017 and composed by Paolo Terenzi, is a sweet, ambery floral with coffee running through it. Everyone describes it as gourmand and floral, about two thirds also find it ambery, and a third woody and musky.
The opening sets coffee, roasted and slightly bitter, against white hyacinth and iris, which bring a cool, green-floral freshness and a dusting of powder. The heart is vanilla and Turkish rose, warm and sweet, with opoponax, a resin with a balsamic, slightly smoky sweetness, deepening the whole thing. The base is honey for a thick golden sweetness, cedar for a dry wooden line, and amber and white musk for a soft, warm finish.
It is worn by anyone. About half of wearers report it as long lasting, and projection is usually moderate, with some finding it strong. Winter and autumn lead the votes, and night and day are almost level. It suits cooler months and someone who likes sweet, resinous scents with a floral heart rather than a purely edible one.
