Peregrina from the British house Thameen, released in 2019, is a creamy white floral with a sweet, powdery amber base. Flowers lead, with sweetness, musk and amber in support and a resinous touch.
It opens with a bouquet rather than citrus: jasmine and gardenia give a rich, creamy white-flower note, lily of the valley a fresh, dewy brightness and Damask rose a soft, classic warmth. The heart turns warm and golden, with ylang-ylang adding a sunny floral sweetness, vanilla and caramel a smooth, sugary richness, and myrrh and amber a resinous, slightly balsamic depth. The base is soft and cosseting, with white musk, amber and powdery notes leaving a velvety, skin-like finish.
