Saffron, cardamom and cinnamon open it with a warm, aromatic spice: saffron leathery and slightly metallic, cardamom cool, cinnamon sweet. Rose forms the heart, velvety and rich, joined by jasmine for a honeyed softness and lotus for a watery, delicate floral note. The base is deep and warm: agarwood, or oud, brings a smoky, resinous woodiness, cedar a dry structure, leather a supple depth, and amber and musk a glowing, smooth finish.
