Encens Saba

Encens Saba is a spicy, resinous incense with rose and leather, released by the French house Reine de Saba in 2022 and composed by Alberto Morillas. It is worn by anyone.

Orange opens it with a brief, bright citrus, quickly joined by black pepper and cinnamon, which bring a warm, dry spice. Frankincense is the heart, dry, resinous and church-like, with Damask rose and rose adding a soft, slightly jammy floral warmth that keeps the smoke from feeling austere. Myrrh adds a drier, more bitter balsam. The base is leather, supple and slightly smoky, with patchouli and cypriol for an earthy, oud-like depth, woody notes for structure, and Ambrox Super and musk for a clean, mineral, long-lasting warmth.
