The opening is fresh and aromatic: cardamom gives a cool spice, neroli a clean orange-blossom freshness, black pepper a dry prickle and carrot seeds an earthy, slightly powdery note. The heart is the signature, with iris bringing a cool, powdery, almost soapy elegance, violet a soft floral touch, geranium a rosy, minty edge and mate a dry, tea-like greenness. The base is amber, sandalwood, cedar and patchouli, which give a smooth, warm and slightly earthy woody finish.
