Calabrian bergamot opens it with a bright zest, and musk is present from the start, giving a clean, slightly soapy softness. The heart is two geraniums, rose geranium and Bourbon geranium, which together smell green, rosy and a little minty, fresher and sharper than a true rose. The base is resinous and warm: guaiac wood for a smoky, slightly sweet woodiness, Peru balsam and benzoin for a vanilla-tinged, balsamic amber.
