The seven notes are listed without a pyramid, but they pair off neatly. Pimento and saffron carry the spice: a warm, slightly peppery heat alongside saffron's dry, leathery, faintly medicinal glow. Rose and jasmine are the floral heart, kept from softness by the surrounding dryness. Sandalwood and an unnamed dry wood give the base a smooth, sun-bleached quality, and suede adds a soft, supple leather that reads more like fine fabric than a saddle.
There are not yet enough wear reports to describe longevity or projection. The character points to autumn and winter, and to evening more than daytime, for anyone who likes rose and saffron in a dry, woody setting rather than a sweet one.
