Bergamot and Calabrian bergamot give a bright, slightly bitter citrus opening with a cool, clean feel. Pink pepper adds a light, rosy, lightly warming spice that gives the top a little lift. The base is vetiver, in its Haitian form, which is cleaner and smokier than other varieties, giving a dry, grassy, slightly earthy woodiness with a faint smoky edge. With so few notes there is little development; the scent is a bergamot-and-vetiver pairing from start to finish, the citrus fading and the vetiver remaining.
