The pyramid is spare and unusual. Tuberose opens it, creamy and heady, a flower that normally dominates anything it touches. The heart answers it with maté, a tea note that brings a dry, green, slightly bitter and hay-like freshness, and paprika, which adds a warm, dusty, mildly sweet spice rather than heat. The base is tonka bean, soft, almond-like and sweet, which is where the gourmand impression gathers and which smooths the tuberose into something more wearable.
