Intense Cedrat Boise, a 2021 men's release from Mancera, is a woody citrus with a sweet, slightly leathery underside. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, about two thirds add gourmand, and a third mention spicy, floral, leathery or citrus facets.

It opens with Sicilian citruses and blackcurrant, bright and tart with a green, fruity edge, warmed by a blend of spices. The heart is where the weight comes in: white sandalwood gives a creamy smoothness, Cambodian oud and leather a dark, smoky, slightly animalic depth, patchouli leaf an earthy note, and jasmine a soft floral lift to stop it turning too dry. The base is vanilla, ambergris, white musk and oakmoss, so the drydown is sweet, salty-warm and mossy at once.

Most wearers report it as long lasting, and sillage splits between strong and moderate, so it projects reasonably well. It is voted for spring and autumn and evenly between day and night, suggesting a versatile, polished scent that works across much of the year.
