Terre d’Inde from Maison de L'Asie is a floral and ambery fragrance with a spiced, earthy character. Released in 2024 and presented as shared, it has woody, leathery and citrus sides that add depth and brightness.

Bitter orange opens with a sharp, zesty citrus note, and saffron brings a warm, slightly metallic, leathery spice. Turmeric is the distinctive touch: earthy, warm and faintly peppery, it gives the scent a dry, golden quality. In the heart, geranium adds a rosy, slightly minty floral note and orris root a cool, powdery elegance. The base turns warm and smoky, with incense giving a resinous, dry smoke, leather a supple depth, sandalwood a creamy smoothness and amber a soft, glowing warmth.

Worn by anyone, it suits autumn and winter, evenings and occasions where a spiced, textured scent is welcome. It will appeal to someone who likes earthy spice, incense and powdery florals woven together.
