Nine notes are listed without a pyramid, and they paint a clear picture of a hillside in the sun. Orange and bergamot open sweet-sharp and bright. Rosemary and sage then take over with a resinous, slightly camphorous herbal character, and pepper adds a dry, tingling heat that gives the scent its name. Moss and oakmoss supply a damp, bitter green undertone, while amber and musk warm and soften the base so it does not stay purely herbal.
It is worn by anyone. Community reports on longevity and projection have not yet been collected. The herbal, peppery freshness suits warm weather and daytime, walks, holidays and casual wear, and someone who prefers the smell of wild herbs to flowers or sweetness.
