Kenzo's L'Eau par Kenzo, released in 1996 and composed by Olivier Cresp, is a floral fragrance with spicy and sweet sides and lighter fresh, aromatic and citrus touches. It is a watery, green floral for summer.

The opening is cool and green: green lilac and reed bring a crisp, aquatic freshness, mint a cooling lift, mandarin orange brightness and pink pepper a light spice. The heart is soft and watery, with water lily, white peach, rose, amaryllis and violet, gently sweet and translucent. The base is light, with vanilla, white musk and cedar giving a clean, soft finish.

Most wearers report moderate longevity, with some finding it weak, and a moderate to intimate trail. It is voted for summer and spring and almost entirely for daytime, so it suits hot days, holidays and casual daytime wear, for someone who likes fresh, aquatic florals that stay discreet.
