Le Male Elixir Collector Edition

Le Male Elixir Collector Edition is the 2025 collector's bottling of Jean Paul Gaultier's elixir composition by Quentin Bisch, marketed to men. Everyone who describes it finds it gourmand and aromatic, and about a third add resinous.

Lavender and mint open it, the lavender with its clean, herbal, barbershop character and the mint adding a cool, sharp lift, which together give the aromatic side. Honey then arrives, thick and sweet, and the composition turns heavy and warm. Tobacco adds a dry, hay-like richness beneath the honey, and the base is deeply sweet: vanilla, creamy and smooth; tonka bean, almond-tinged and warm; and benzoin, a balsamic resin that leans towards caramel.

This is a sweet, dense scent for cold weather and evenings, with the mint and lavender keeping the opening from being cloying. It should appeal to men who like honey and tobacco gourmands and want them with a familiar aromatic start.
