It opens with blackcurrant, tart and slightly green, alongside mandarin, bergamot and freesia for brightness. The heart is a May rose surrounded by osmanthus, which adds an apricot-like fruitiness, neroli for a clean orange-blossom freshness and artemisia for a bitter, herbal edge that keeps it from being too pretty. The base is vanilla and patchouli over woody notes and ambroxan, warm and smooth with a dry, slightly earthy finish.
