Chameleon by Franck Boclet (2023) is floral and citrus in equal measure, with smaller groups noticing sweetness, greenery, wood and musk.
Bergamot, mandarin orange, petitgrain and grapefruit give a bright, juicy, slightly bitter opening, with petitgrain adding a green, leafy edge. The heart is a white-floral bouquet: tuberose brings a creamy, heady richness, Egyptian jasmine a luminous sweetness and rose a soft, velvety bloom. The base is smooth and soft, with sandalwood for a creamy wood, almond for a nutty, marzipan-like sweetness and musk for a clean finish.
Chameleon is shared and can be worn by anyone. As the name suggests, it adapts easily: bright and fresh by day, creamy and floral in the evening. It suits spring and summer especially, and should appeal to people who like citrus-lifted white flowers with a soft almond base.
