Leather Noir by Flavia, released in 2024, is green and floral in equal measure according to everyone who has described it, with about half also finding it spicy, woody, ambery and leathery. It is worn by anyone.
The notes are unordered: cardamom opens with a cool, aromatic spice, jasmine and jasmine sambac give a rich, slightly indolic white-floral heart, and oakmoss and moss bring a damp, forest-floor greenness. Leather adds a smoky depth, patchouli an earthy dryness, and amber a warm finish. The result is a floral leather with a mossy, chypre-like backbone rather than a sweet one.
No wear reports on longevity, sillage or season have been gathered yet. Mossy leather compositions usually suit autumn and winter and evening or formal wear. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
