True Love, released by Elizabeth Arden in 1994 and composed by Sophia Grojsman, is a soft floral with a sweeter side: everyone calls it floral, about half also gourmand, and a third woody, with musky and amber facets for a minority.

Apricot and peach open it with a gentle, slightly fuzzy fruitiness, lifted by freesia and green notes. The heart is a classic powdery bouquet, iris and orris root for softness, rose and jasmine for body, heliotrope for an almond-like sweetness and lily of the valley for freshness. The base is cedar and sandalwood warmed with amber and vanilla.

About half of wearers report moderate longevity and a fifth find it weak; the trail is moderate to intimate. It is voted mostly for daytime and for spring, with autumn second, which fits a quiet, close-wearing floral for someone who likes a powdery, romantic style without much projection.
