Mediterranean, Elizabeth Arden's 2007 feminine by Claude Dir, is a warm fruity floral. Floral is the first description, most wearers also call it sweet, and a third notice woods, musk, amber and citrus.

Plum, peach and Sicilian mandarin open it, a ripe, sun-warmed fruit mix with a little citrus brightness. The heart is magnolia, orchid and wisteria, soft and slightly creamy flowers that stay airy rather than heavy, the wisteria adding a sweet, slightly green garden note. The base of amber, sandalwood and musk is smooth and warm, giving the fruit and flowers a gentle, skin-like glow as they fade.

Most wearers find the longevity moderate, and the sillage is moderate for the majority, so it does not shout. Summer takes nearly half of the season votes with spring next, and it is mostly worn by day, which makes it a holiday and warm-weather scent for anyone who likes soft fruit and flowers with a touch of warmth.
