Cardamom and cloves give the opening a warm, aromatic spice, the cardamom bright and slightly citrusy, the cloves dry and medicinal. Saffron adds a leathery, faintly metallic heat. Rose forms the floral heart, and agarwood sits beneath it with a resinous, woody depth. Sandalwood smooths the oud with a creamy, sweet woodiness, patchouli adds an earthy edge, and ambergris brings a warm, salty glow. White musk and musk give the drydown a soft, clean finish that keeps the heavier materials close to the skin.
