Eleventh Hour from Byredo, composed by Jérôme Epinette and released in 2018, is a sweet, woody, resinous scent built around dark fruit and rum. Those three descriptions are reported about equally, with green and citrus sides behind them.

The opening is unusual: timur pepper, which has a citrus-like tang, alongside bergamot, so it begins fresh and slightly fizzy. The heart is the main event, with fig and plum giving a ripe, jammy fruitiness and rum adding a boozy warmth, while carrot seed brings an earthy, slightly powdery note. The base is woody and resinous, with cedar, cashmere wood and Iso E Super for a soft, clean woodiness, tonka bean for sweetness and labdanum and frankincense for a smoky, balsamic depth.

Most people report moderate longevity and a moderate trail. It is voted for winter and autumn and splits evenly between day and night. Worn by anyone who likes fruit kept dark and woody rather than bright.

Eleventh Hour — unisex fragrance by Byredo (released 2018). Top notes: Bergamot, Timur. Heart notes: Plum, Rum, Fig, Carrot Seeds. Base notes: Cedar, Cashmere Wood, Iso E Super, Tonka Bean, Olibanum, Labdanum. — Parfica open fragrance database
