Composed by Alberto Morillas for By Kilian in 2012, Good Girl Gone Bad is a lush white floral set on a warm woody base. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, about two thirds add woody, and a third mention citrus; spicy, sweet and amber facets are noted by a minority.

The opening is fruity and bright, with peach and osmanthus, a flower that smells of apricot, alongside bergamot, mandarin and neroli, and a touch of cinnamon for warmth. The heart is where it becomes opulent: Indian tuberose, jasmine and May rose form a creamy, heady bouquet, and narcissus adds a slightly green, hay-like edge. It settles on amber, sandalwood, cedar and patchouli, with vetiver bringing a dry, earthy counterweight.

Most wearers find the longevity moderate and the sillage moderate to intimate, so it stays fairly close for such a rich composition. It is voted mainly for spring and summer and for daytime, suggesting a dressed-up floral for bright days rather than a heavy evening scent.

Good Girl Gone Bad — for women fragrance by By Kilian (released 2012). Top notes: Osmanthus, Peach, Neroli, Bergamot, Mandarin, Cinnamon. Heart notes: Indian Tuberose, Jasmine, Narcissus, May Rose. Base notes: Amber, Cedar, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Vetiver. — Parfica open fragrance database
