Azure Spirit

Azure Spirit from the British house Anfar London, composed by Abdullah Anfar and released in 2024, is a sweet woody fragrance for men. Everyone who describes it says gourmand; most add woody, and a minority find it floral, aromatic, ambery or citrusy.

The notes are listed without stages. Lemon, green apple and apple open crisp and fruity, with mint adding a cool freshness and geranium a green, rosy edge. The base supplies both the sweetness and the wood: vanilla and Madagascar vanilla with tonka bean give a warm, creamy, almond-tinged sweetness, while Atlas cedar, Virginia cedar and cedar bring a dry, clean wood in three registers. Vetiver adds smoke, oakmoss a bitter green, and ambroxan a salty, radiant warmth.

Community reports on longevity and sillage have not yet been collected. The apple-mint top and vanilla-cedar base suit cooler evenings and nights out, and it reads as a crowd-pleasing, modern sweet-woody scent for a man who likes freshness that turns warm.
