The pyramid is classical and compact. Lavender, lemon and rose open it: lavender for a clean, herbal, barbershop freshness, lemon for brightness, and rose for a soft floral warmth that is unusual at the top of a men's scent. The heart pairs geranium, which extends the rose with a greener, minty edge, with nutmeg for a dry, warm spice. The base is earthy and dry, with vetiver bringing a smoky, grassy depth and patchouli adding dark, slightly sweet earth.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. Lavender and citrus over vetiver is a fougère-style structure that suits daytime, work and most of the year, and it should appeal to a man who likes traditional, clean, slightly green scents. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
