Reserved Oud is a woody, musky scent from Zimaya, released in 2024 and worn by anyone. Everyone who has described it calls it woody and musky; about half also find it sweet, floral, aromatic and ambery, which gives a fair picture of a soft oud rather than a harsh one.
The notes are not split into stages, but they fall into two camps. On one side sit lavender and wild lavender, bringing a clean, herbal lift. On the other sit agarwood, amber, musk and vanilla, with sweet notes and a candied edge that round the oud off and keep it from smelling medicinal. Powdery notes soften the whole thing further.
No wear reports have been collected yet, so longevity and sillage remain unrecorded. Going by the composition, a sweet, powdery oud of this kind tends to sit better in cooler weather and in the evening, and suits someone who wants an oud that reads as comfortable rather than challenging.
