Itqan Noir by Zimaya, composed by Imran Fazlani in 2024 and worn by anyone, is a short, clear composition that everyone describes as woody, floral and citrusy in equal measure.

Bergamot provides the citrus, a bright, slightly bitter freshness at the start. Orange blossom gives the floral side, sunny and faintly honeyed, with a clean rather than heady feel. Patchouli brings the woody depth, earthy and a little dark, and Ambrofix adds a smooth, mineral, ambergris-like warmth that makes the base feel broad and long-lasting without becoming sweet.

With only four notes, the scent is easy to read: fresh citrus and orange blossom over a dry, warm woody base. It is the kind of versatile fragrance that works year round, in the office or out in the evening, and should appeal to anyone who likes clean, modern woody scents with a floral lift rather than a sugary one.
